Volunteer Opportunities

Midland Young Life has several volunteer opportunities available. Please consider supporting our ministry in one of these vital roles.
WyldLife Parent Support Team
Young Life values parents and we want them to be informed about our work with teenagers. In WyldLife, parents can serve on a Parent Support Team, which is a group that assists the local staff and WyldLife leaders in a variety of ways, including helping organize events, giving information about WyldLife to other parents, bringing food for events, driving WyldLife carpools, and praying for WyldLife.
Leaders for WyldLife or Young Life
Volunteer leaders are absolutely vital to the mission of Young Life. It is their involvement that allows lives to be changed. Leaders participate in a full range of activities that help them build these significant relationships with kids. Click here to learn more about becoming a leader.
Mentors for YoungLives
Being a YoungLives mentor means loving a teen mom right where she’s at in her life and becoming a trusted friend who models Christ’s unconditional love. Teen moms need women to help them have hope and look forward to a future for themselves and their children.
Quality childcare is provided at YoungLives club and other events so that teen moms are able to develop relationships and have some time away. This is an opportunity to invest in the growth and development of YoungLives children.
Childcare workers are also needed at YoungLives campIf you’re looking for a terrific service, discipleship and community-building experience for all types of people — men, women, college and high school students, then you'll want to consider the YoungLives camp childcare opportunity! Participants spend a week serving at a YoungLives camp caring for the children of teen moms during camper activities. For more details, visit the YoungLives Camp Childcare Opportunity pageContact Susan Marsh if you are interested at smarsh@midlandyl.younglife.org.
Special Projects for YoungLives
YoungLives offers many opportunities to use your gifts: providing food or crafts, leading YoungLives club, organizing donations, providing transportation, teaching childbirth or parenting classes, tutoring, working on fundraising events, and many more!
If you are interested in volunteering for YoungLives, contact Susan Marsh at (989) 600-8064 or smarsh@midlandyl.younglife.org.

Each local area has a committee of volunteers from all different backgrounds, careers, and churches. The committee serves as the
foundation for Young Life in a local area. It provides a strategy and vision for the local Young Life team in the areas of growth, finance, and ministry health.
